We’ve had such an excellent turn-out for Fall Ball registration that we will be closing the registration page on Thursday, August 23. If you want to play Fall Ball, register today! Details below.

Season Overview
The Season will run after Labor Day through the end of October/early November. You will be receiving more information as the season gets closer as schedules are still being pulled together. The fall baseball program will entail ~8 weeks. Teams will be formed for each age group which will have one week night practice and one Saturday game per week with the exception of T-Ball. T-Ball will keep all games and practices on Saturdays. Practice schedules will be communicated once registration is complete and is dependent on field and coach’s availability. Practices will all take place at Bramhall park and games will be played against other teams across district 12.

Fall Ball
The coaches will emphasizing hitting, proper fielding, throwing and base running. Fall-ball is all about developing the players, in a fun and relaxed environment. We want players to play outside their comfort zone and not be afraid of making errors. Making errors is part of learning baseball. Being able to make those errors in a safe and fun environment is priceless.

Uniforms
The league will provide the players with a Fall-Ball shirt and baseball hat. You will need to provide a helmet and glove and personal protective gear (cup).

Levels of Play
This year, WGLL is offering Fall Ball for T-Ball, Single A, and Double A levels. Due to needed repairs on the Bramhall Majors Field, AAA, and Majors levels will not be offered. If you would like to play Fall Ball at the AAA or Majors level, please register with the Cambrian Park Little League at http://www.cpllbaseball.org/.

District 12 is hosting the Junior Little League World Series Western Region Championship at Cambrian Park Little League and they need our help to put on this tournament. Much like the Little League World Series you see on TV, the Junior tournament is the step after Majors for many of our players (ages 12 and 13).

The Western Region tournament pits 10 of the top teams from 9 western states (Nor. Calif, So. Calif, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Alaska, and Hawaii) against each other to represent the Western Region at the Junior Little League World Series in Taylor, Michigan.

If you want to take part in this unique experience, you can sign up for a volunteer slot at this site: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0549aca82fa4fe3-20181

Willow Glen Little League is responsible to fill out time slots on Wednesday, August 1, but you are welcome to sign up for any time that works for you.

These volunteer hours will count towards any unfulfilled volunteer requirements.

Thanks for your support for this unique event.

Congratulations to Single A Navy who beat Grey in an exciting 25-22 win! Navy was up 8 runs going into the bottom of the 6th when Grey stormed back in a nail biter and left the bases loaded. Congratulations to both teams. We look forward to seeing all these youngsters battling for future championships in the upper divisions.
